Background and objectives of activities
The Graduate School of Clinical Psychology, a professional degree program, was established in 2007 with the main objective of training "clinical psychologists who are close to the heart of each and every citizen. As part of this education, an annexed clinical psychology consultation room was established, and activities are being developed to contribute to the community as a "mental health consultation room" that is open to anyone in the community.
Summary of Activities
With the purpose of providing support for mental health in the community, we provide individual psychological consultation activities while protecting personal information. We provide consultation activities for a wide range of "mental concerns" such as truancy, bullying, developmental disabilities, and other problems with children, interpersonal problems at work or school, family problems such as parent-child and marital relationships, anxiety, personality, mental illness, and future problems, etc., by appointment and with fees.
Expected Benefits
Providing clinical psychology activities where any person in the community can consult with professionals on "mental problems and concerns" is expected to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of mental health and the recovery of independence of the patients and their families who visit the center.
