Background and objectives of activities
Kagoshima University's policies of "promoting the use of public transportation that contributes to CO2 reduction," "convenience of transportation between campuses," and "contribution to the local community" coincided with Kagoshima City's policies of "reducing CO2 emissions," "improving mobility and convenience," so the University collaborated with Kagoshima City. A "Kagorin" cycle port, a community share-cycle system operated by Kagoshima City, was installed on the university campus.
