Background and objectives of activities


In order to maintain sustainable use of fishery resources, it is important to artificially increase their abundance. Aquaculture and propagation are two examples of human involvement with marine resources. This course is designed to provide students with a systematic presentation of the process and purpose of aquaculture to sustain fishery resources.

Summary of Activities

As a lecture for first-year students of the Faculty of Fisheries, the lecture focuses on basic knowledge of propagation and aquaculture, seedling production, feed and feedstuff, and diseases.
