Background and objectives of activities
Aquaculture and propagation are two of the most important human interventions in marine resources, and seedling production is important for the production of seeds and seedlings for aquaculture or propagation (for release). The objective of this course is to provide a systematic presentation of seedling production for the conservation of marine resources and to help participants learn the process and purpose of seedling production.
Summary of Activities
As a lecture for third-year students of the Faculty of Fisheries, this lecture focuses on the quality of seed production, production methods, and the use of the seed produced, with an emphasis on marine fishes.
Expected Benefits
To conserve the natural resources of fisheries and to maintain the production of fishery resources in the waters.
