To provide a place where students who are struggling financially due to the coronavirus pandemic can receive free goods.
To reduce the number of usable used products that are thrown away.
Summary of Activities
The Kagoshima University Co-op Organization Department collected usable used products and provided them free of charge to people who wanted to use them over two days on October 17th and 18th 2023. Over the course of about a year, we collected more than 200 items, including clothes, small appliances, and books.
Expected Benefits
This will help to reduce the number of students living in poverty.
Reusing items that are no longer needed will lead to sustainable consumption.
