Background and objectives of activities

Over 2500 job offers in a variety of industries and occupations are received by the Kagoshima University Career Development Support Center each year. In order to provide Kagoshima University students with job and internship information that will lead to lifelong and rewarding humanistic employment, the Center verifies the use of paid leave, overtime hours, professional development efforts, and retention status.

活動の背景・目的

Summary of Activities

Companies and organizations (including public officials) seeking to hire Kagoshima University students are required to submit a "Youth Employment Information Sheet" based on the Youth Employment Promotion Act when accepting job applications, and are asked to include all items related to ease of working (e.g., use of paid leave, overtime hours, turnover rate, average length of employment) as much as possible. In addition, students are asked to provide information that will help them develop an occupational viewpoint and a sense of responsibility for their work.
In addition, in an effort to nurture students' view of the job market and prevent future mismatches, the Center collects and provides information on internships offered by a number of companies and organizations.

Expected Benefits

Expected to increase the number of people who are able to continue working as people throughout their lives by finding a comfortable workplace, which will lead to an increase in overall purchasing power and growth of the economy.
