Background and objectives of activities


Provide educational support to local high schools based on high school-university cooperation. To provide an opportunity for students to learn about the research being conducted at Kagoshima University and to directly visit the facilities, etc., to help them choose a theme for their future research projects and career paths.

Summary of Activities

In addition to providing students from Konan High School with a tour of the facilities of the Center for Justice Policy Education and Research, this year we increased interest in the legal field by conducting individual meetings between students and faculty members to discuss specialized questions about the career path to the legal profession.

Expected Benefits

Through direct exposure to specialized university knowledge, students will be motivated to continue high quality learning in high school and beyond, contributing to employment in society and the maintenance of sustainable cities and human settlements.
