Background and objectives of activities

As one of the opportunities for the science department to think about the SDGs in order to maintain a sustainable society, we chose this topic as the subject of our Science English. 2 textbooks were used to first share the current situation in the world. Essential efforts to solve social problems from the perspective of science are being made in many parts of the world, and as Japanese students, we aim to provide opportunities to become aware of social issues and improve our ability to acquire, transfer, and communicate information in English.
