Kagoshima is rapidly accepting foreign workers as the birthrate declines and the population ages. However, there is a lack of understanding of the actual situation of these people and the problems they face. In addition, opportunities for interaction and mutual understanding with local residents are scarce.
Summary of Activities
As the Chairman of the Satsuma Town Council for the Promotion of Multicultural Conviviality, develop a basic plan for the promotion of multicultural conviviality in Satsuma Town and plan and implement projects related to the plan. The above plan and the planning and implementation of the projects will be based on the partnership among industry, academia, government, private sector, and civil society.
Expected Benefits
Contribute to the maintenance of a sustainable community by understanding the actual situation of foreign technical interns in the community and promoting the local integration of these interns.
