The program allows enrolled students to take advantage of attractive courses at no additional cost that would not be possible at a single university, such as the high level of English language training at the University of the Philippines, education based on the world's best seafood industry at Kasetsart University, and practical training in a World Heritage Site at Samulatrangi University. A total of 178 faculty members (including 40 at Kagoshima University) are assigned as visiting faculty members at five other universities, and 86 courses are offered, with syllabi available on the Internet. Students are required to earn at least 12 credits from these courses, including at least 6 credits from courses taught by faculty members who are not full-time members of their home university, and they must travel to the university to take the courses.
