Background and objectives of activities
Regarding employment for students with disabilities, it cannot be said that support for transitioning graduates from universities and other higher education institutions into employment is sufficiently advanced. Therefore, we aim to establish the foundation for a collaborative support network among relevant organizations, thereby contributing to the resolution of challenges and advancement in employment transition for students with disabilities in Kagoshima and in the employment of people with disabilities.
Summary of Activities
A gathering will be held among university representatives, local businesses, regional support organizations, and public agency officials to establish a forum for information exchange and training sessions regarding employment support for students with disabilities graduating from Kagoshima's higher education institutions.
Expected Benefits
Sharing the current state of the region and the challenges faced by each institution, fostering mutual understanding of students with disabilities enrolled in universities and other institutions, and sharing perspectives on their employment prospects are expected to lay the groundwork for building a network to promote the employment of students with disabilities graduating from higher education institutions.
