Support Center for Students with Disabilities
KAWAZOE Akane
Background and objectives of activities
For students anxious about job hunting, the goal is to help them understand the connection between student life and job hunting, gain a clearer picture of internships and the job-hunting process, and provide a starting point for engaging in job-hunting activities.
Summary of Activities
In collaboration with local support organizations, we conduct career and employment workshops for students with disabilities and those facing employment challenges. Workshop content is tailored to students' circumstances and specific needs, with sessions held approximately three to four times per year.
Expected Benefits
By addressing the anxieties faced by students with disabilities or illnesses, providing necessary information, and encouraging self-understanding, we aim to promote career development that enables all students—regardless of disability or illness—to thrive in society as their authentic selves.
