Background and objectives of activities


In collaboration with a local company, we have succeeded in creating the "Fine Grid Heat Pipe (FGHP)," which has the "world's best heat dissipation capability. This technology is expected to be a definitive solution to the thermal problem of semiconductors. We are working day and night on research and development to contribute to the realization of a carbon-neutral society through such "cooling" technology.

Summary of Activities

Our research and development of FGHP, a laminated vapor chamber, has been conducted, and more than 20 patents have been obtained. This has enabled high-density mounting of LEDs, which was not possible in the past, and has realized high brightness and energy efficiency of LED light sources.

Expected Benefits

LED Lighting with FGHP contributes to the realization of an energy-efficient society. For example, by using LED lights with FGHP at the ENEOS Kiiri Base, the company has achieved energy savings of 94% compared to the mercury lamps used in the past, while at the same time achieving the same or higher brightness than conventional lights.
