Background and objectives of activities

In Recent years, local communities have been weakening against the backdrop of a society with a declining population. In addition, the diversification of lifestyles has made it difficult for community activities themselves to be established, and in some cases, it has been particularly difficult for the child-rearing generation and younger generations to create opportunities for social participation and involvement. Therefore, we aim to create a system that enables more people to get involved in local community activities by utilizing ICT and other technologies, while taking into account the accumulated experience of the past.

Summary of Activities

The archiving is conducted using video for the purpose of preserving and passing on local history and traditional culture. In addition, through workshops with local residents, the history and culture of the region will be compiled in a quiz format and created as the "XX Regional Certification Test. Beacons (wireless transmitting terminals) will be installed at relevant locations, and participants will actually walk around the town while utilizing portable terminal devices. The project will also develop games using the beacons in cooperation with local children.

Expected Benefits

Participants will enrich their own living space by learning about the history and culture of the region, and will use these resources to create a sense of purpose in their own lives and to communicate their appeal to the outside world. These processes will deepen their interest in the community and lead to the formation of entities that can solve local problems.
